If you encounter a timesheet whose days are greyed out, you can use the following checklist to determine why they are greyed out:
1. Task start / end dates. If you are attempting to enter time before the task start date or after the task end date, then the fields in the timesheet will be uneditable for these days. You can fix this by editing the task and changing the start / end dates on the Main Details tab.
2. Rate start / end dates. If you have set a start / end date on a particular rate code, and there are no other rate codes valid for a specific date, then the fields in the timesheet will be uneditable.
3. Rate available days of week
Rate codes assigned to a task can have their available days of week of week set. To view and change these, go to Settings->Rate Codes & Units->Rate Codes, and edit the rate code. Check that the day of the week which is uneditable in a timesheet is ticked for the rate code.
