How to share reports

You can share reports on Timesheet Portal using 2 methods, one shares it with anybody having the "Full reporting" permission and the other is shared with a specific user.

To share a report, it must be a custom report that is owned by yourself. To share it with other administrators, click on your report in the Custom Reports section of the Reports page, and then tick "Allow other users with the full reporting permission to run this report" in the Title & Logo section on the top of the report configuration, and click Update Custom Report to save your changes. This will result in the report appearing in other reporter's Custom Reports section.

To share a report with a specific employee, you can grant them a permission to view a specific report. To do this, edit their employee record, and click on the Permissions tab. Click on Add advanced permission, and change the category to Report, and then select the report to share, and update the employee record. If the employee already has a permission which grants them access to the reporting page, it will appear in the Custom Reports section. If the employee has no other reporting permissions, they will have a link to a basic Reporting page which lists all the reports which are shared with them.
