Hidden report fields

Some report fields may be hidden from users, depending on the user's permissions

Updated over a week ago

Available report fields are filtered out based on the user's permissions. You may therefore notice when you click on Included Fields when running a report, you may not see the fields you expect.

Report fields are filtered out either because the user does not have data privacy permissions for the specific type of data which the field relates to, or because they do not have the required permisions to view pay or charge rates.

On the recruitment version, any administrator is able to view pay and charge rates, however on the project edition, pay rates can only be seen by the users having one of the following types of permissions:

  • System administrator

  • Full reporting

  • Report on own employee group with pay / charges

On project edition, charge rates can only be seen if the user has one of the following types of permissions:

  • System administrator

  • Reporting - charge rates only

  • Project manager (this permission is granted automatically to any user assigned as the project manager)

  • Report on own employee group with pay / charges

  • Report costs on cost centre

Data privacy permissions will also be applied, depending on the category of the reporting field. To configure a user's data privacy permissions, edit their project and click on User Permissions. The following data privacy permisions are available, and may result in fields being hidden if a user does not have one of these permissions:

  • Employment details

  • Personal details

  • Bank details
