Updated over a week ago

Timesheet Portal provides various permissions which can be allocated to users, either directly through the Permissions tab on the employee record or indirectly by setting the user as a project manager.

This page describes the permissions that will allow a user to view pay and charge rates.

Pay Rates

The following permissions will give a user full access to view pay rates within reports:

Full Reporting permissions

Report time & costs on own employee group

Report time & costs on own employee custom list 1

Take note that a user have the Rates administrator permision is also able to view pay and charge rates of all employees and project plural on the system from the Rates Management page.

Charge Rates

The following permissions will give a user full access to view charge rates within reports:

Full Reporting permissions

Report time & costs on own employee group

Report time & costs on own employee custom list 1

Run any timesheet report (time & charge only)

In addition, any users who are set up as a project manager for a specific chargecodegroup can view all the charge rates for any time logged against that report. This includes rates not directly set against the project. For instance, if you set a default charge rate for a user, and no rates are configured against the chargecodegroup, then the user rate will be used, and this rate can be seen by chargecodegroup managers.
