Submitting timesheets on the mobile site

Our mobile site can be accessed through your mobile phone browser, or alternatively by using our mobile app, available from the Apple Store and Google Play Store. To download our app, please search for Timesheet Portal. To access Timesheet Portal through a browser, please use your provided login URL, which will end with “.timesheetportal.com” e.g. https://space-projects-ltd.timesheetportal.com.

Once you have logged in from your mobile device, you will be presented with a menu. Click Timesheets, and then select My Timesheets to create or edit an existing timesheet.

You will now be viewing all the time for this particular task. You will know this is the case because the page title changes from “Submit Timesheet” to “Task Time” (Your terminology for task may be slightly different depending on your account configuration. The main timesheet screen will also your total hours in a big green box on top, along with buttons for submitting and saving your timesheet:

A new timesheet will require you add a task in order for you to enter your time. You may have worked on multiple projects and tasks during the week, so this process may need to be repeated several times to add all your tasks.

To add a new task, click on Add New Task. You will then need to select the client. You can use the search bar if you have a lot of clients to browse through. Continue this process until you have selected your client, project and task. You will see your progress through this process with the numbered circles on top.

If there is only one project available for a client, or one task available for a project, then you may notice some steps being automatically skipped.

The final step of this process is to enter the time worked. To speed up the process, you can enter the same time for multiple days, by tapping the days you want the time to apply to.

Your screen may be different to the screenshot on the right, as your tasks may be configured to record time in days, or even start times and end times.

If your time varies between different days, then you will have the opportunity to modify it after you click Save.

Enter any notes if applicable, and click Save to continue.

Once you save your time, you will be shown the task time view. In this view you are looking at the times entered for your task only, not the entire timesheet.

You can scroll down to change the times entered for individual days. To edit the time or notes for each day, click on the chevron the right hand side of each day.

From this screen, you can also add another task for the same project by clicking on the "Add new task" button, or you can remove all the time related to this task from the timesheet using the Delete button on top.

If you want to view time for other projects and tasks, you will need to exit this screen and go back to the main timesheet view. To go back to the timesheet, tap the back button on the top-left. This will present you with your timesheet.

In the timesheet view, you can see all the projects and tasks which you have added to the timesheet. Each project you add to the timesheet is shown in a white box.

You can add more tasks for the same project by clicking on the Add new task link within the project. To add time for another project, click the first Add new task button outside of the white project panels.

You can Save your timesheet and finish it off later, by clicking on the Save button on top. If you have more than one approver to choose from, you can click on the approver name to choose an alternative approver to approve your timesheet. When you are ready to submit your timesheet, click on the Submit button.
